Some of the Things I Love
Anyone who knows me can tell you that some of the things I enjoy the most in life are coffee, super heroes, miniature wargaming and table top roleplaying. This picture just collectively displays all of my hobbies. The following are the camera settings used for this photo. F-Stop: f/8, Focus: 4.9ft, Shutter Speed: 1/48, Focal Length: Z90/99mm, ND Filter: Clear, ISO: ISO 640, White Balance: 3500K.
Game Night
Further expanding on one of my hobbies, here is a mock game of Dungeons and Dragons being played. The image is displaying Slow Shutter Speed as the roll of the D20 comes out as a blur across the frame. The following are the camera settings used for this photo. F-Stop: f/6.3, Focus: 2.9ft, Shutter Speed: 1/6, Focal Length: Z86/90mm, ND Filter: 1/16ND, ISO: ISO 640, White Balance: 3600K.
My Old Life
Before I started shooting images with a camera I led a different life that required me to shoot other things on occasion. This is a Shallow Depth of Field Shot that displays a part of one of my Marine Corps uniforms, a nameplate that I had on my desk, a flag gifted to me from a tour of service in Tunis, Tunisia and a plaque gifted to me from a tour of service in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The following are the camera settings used for this photo. F-Stop: f/6.3, Focus: 3.8ft, Shutter Speed: 1/48, Focal Length: Z82/80mm, ND Filter: Clear, ISO: ISO 640, White Balance: 3200K.
Small Hobby Documentary
This is a short documentary style film I shot about myself and my favorite hobby, competing in a game called Warhammer 40,000. It was a lot of fun to actually create and share this, especially with it being such a big part of my free time.
Foley Audio Addition
This video clip was provided to me with the task to add in almost all of the sound heard. Aside from the dialogue heard from the onscreen talent and a few sounds caught during close up recording inside the cabin, everything else was added by me. I mixed all the sound in using Adobe Audition and from the help of foley sound libraries found online.
Please Don't Go Film
This is my first film, Please Don't Go, completed as a school assignment. I wrote, shot, directed and edited the the whole film myself. I learned a whole lot in the aspect of directing talents with this project. My biggest take away is communication is key. Sometimes what common sense to you and how you think something should be done or presented isn't exactly how others might perceive it to be done. Learning how to effectively convey what you want to your talent and crew members is important to a successful shoot.
War Room Games Battle Report Cold Intro
This is the cold intro for a Battle Report I helped film for War Room Games in Las Vegas. With the help of Jovany Martinez, I created this opening sequence. **Warning: Adult language in this clip**
Box Cars Opening Title Sequence
This is a test run of an opening title sequence for a still to be determined film Box Cars. Shots were filmed around the Las Vegas, NV area and it was an experiment with slow motion, time lapse and slow shutter speed shots.
